Promotion Rules for PG
After appearing at the Semester Examination, the candidates can be placed in following categories in the context of declaration of the results of the Semester Examination (ESE):_
(i) To be declared passed in End Semester Examination in any subject, a candidate must secure atleast 45% marks in each paper separately in CIA, theory and practical, wherever applicable.
(ii) If a candidate secures 45% marks in atleast three papers in his/her First/Second/Third End Semester Examination he/she shall be promoted to next higher semester.
(iii) Candidates shall have to clear their backlog paper(s) in the next end semester examination of that semester whenever it is available.
(iv) Even if a student is promoted to Fourth Semester, his/her final result will only be declared when he/she has cleared all their backlog papers.
(v) Final result of M.Sc. Course shall be published on the basis of candidate’s performance in the 16 papers spread over four semesters provided he/she has passed with minimum qualifying marks of 45% in the elective papers of each semester.
(vi) The Final result will be published only after he/she has cleared all the 20 papers securing minimum qualifying marks.
(vii) Since it is a continuous evaluation programme, student shall be awarded Grade Point (GP) at the End of each Semester Examination and cumulative Grade Point (CGP) at the End of Final End Semester Examinations in 10 point scoring system.
(viii) There shall be no supplementary examination. A student has to score minimum 45% marks in his CIA. Failing to secure minimum marks he/she shall have to repeat the CIA along with the students of the same semester of the next academic session.
(ix) If students fail to secure minimum 45% marks in CIA of any paper his/her result will be declared as failed in that paper. Students shall have to reappear in that paper in the same semester of next academic session.
(x) A promoted candidate, if he has passed in CIA but fails in theory paper/papers, he/she shall retain his/her CIA score and will reappear in the theory paper only of the semester whenever available. However, if a candidate is declared fail in any End Semester Examination, shall retain nothing and will have to redo the course work of failed semester again and he has to appear again in CIA as-well-as theory paper.

यह पीजी के लिए प्रोमोशन नियम हैं:
(i) सेमेस्टर परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण होने के लिए, एक उम्मीदवार को प्रत्येक पेपर में कम से कम 45% अंक प्राप्त करने होंगे, सीआईए, सिद्धांत और व्यावहारिक में, जहां भी लागू हो।
(ii) यदि एक उम्मीदवार अपनी पहली/दूसरी/तीसरी सेमेस्टर परीक्षा में कम से कम तीन पेपर्स में 45% अंक प्राप्त करता है, तो वह अगले उच्च सेमेस्टर में पदोन्नत किया जाएगा।
(iii) उम्मीदवारों को अपने बैकलॉग पेपर्स को अगले सेमेस्टर परीक्षा में पास करना होगा, जब भी वह उपलब्ध हो।
(iv) भले ही एक छात्र चौथे सेमेस्टर में पदोन्नत किया गया हो, लेकिन उसका अंतिम परिणाम तभी घोषित किया जाएगा जब वह सभी बैकलॉग पेपर्स पास कर लेगा।
(v) एमएससी पाठ्यक्रम का अंतिम परिणाम उम्मीदवार के चार सेमेस्टर में फैले 16 पेपर्स में प्रदर्शन के आधार पर प्रकाशित किया जाएगा, बशर्ते उसने प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर के चुनिंदा पेपर्स में न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक 45% प्राप्त किए हों।
(vi) अंतिम परिणाम केवल तभी प्रकाशित किया जाएगा जब उसने सभी 20 पेपर्स में न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक प्राप्त किए हों।
(vii) चूंकि यह एक निरंतर मूल्यांकन कार्यक्रम है, इसलिए प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर परीक्षा के अंत में छात्र को ग्रेड पॉइंट (जीपी) दिया जाएगा और अंतिम सेमेस्टर परीक्षा के अंत में संचयी ग्रेड पॉइंट (सीजीपी) दिया जाएगा।
(viii) कोई अनुपूरक परीक्षा नहीं होगी। एक छात्र को अपने सीआईए में न्यूनतम 45% अंक प्राप्त करने होंगे। न्यूनतम अंक प्राप्त करने में विफल रहने पर उसे अगले अकादमिक सत्र के छात्रों के साथ सीआईए दोहराना होगा।
(ix) यदि छात्र किसी भी पेपर में सीआईए में न्यूनतम 45% अंक प्राप्त करने में विफल रहता है, तो उसका परिणाम उस पेपर में फेल घोषित किया जाएगा। छात्रों को उस पेपर में पुनः प्रयास करना होगा।
(x) एक पदोन्नत उम्मीदवार, यदि वह सीआईए में पास हो जाता है लेकिन सिद्धांत पेपर/पेपर्स में फेल हो जाता है, तो वह अपने सीआईए स्कोर को बनाए रखेगा और सिद्धांत पेपर में पुनः प्रयास करेगा, जब भी उपलब्ध हो। हालांकि, यदि कोई उम्मीदवार किसी भी सेमेस्टर परीक्षा में फेल घोषित किया जाता है, तो वह कुछ भी नहीं रखेगा और उसे फेल सेमेस्टर का कोर्स कार्य फिर से करना होगा और वह सीआईए के साथ-साथ सिद्धांत पेपर में भी पुनः प्रयास करेगा।
नोट:- अंतिम बिंदु बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
